Creative and vivid hair color in the Phoenix metro
Creative color is one of the three things we are known for, alongside extensions and blonding. We run it out of two East Valley studios, North Mesa and Gilbert.
Transformation work, not a shade swap
Most of what people call creative color here is a transformation: lift, placement, tone and a maintenance plan. We schedule and quote it as that, which is why it starts with a consultation.
Vivids are planned around the fade
Fashion color does not stay where you put it. We choose the placement and the tone knowing how it shifts, so week five still looks like a decision rather than an accident.
The canvas decides the timeline
Most vivid work needs a clean, lifted base first. Depending on where your hair starts, that can mean the color goes on the same day or at a second appointment. We tell you which at consultation.
Creative color questions
Which studio should I pick?
North Mesa is usually closer from central Phoenix, Arcadia and Ahwatukee. Gilbert is closer from the southeast valley. Either way, book by stylist.
How long does creative color last?
Vivids fade with every wash. Most clients refresh every four to eight weeks depending on the shade and how often they wash. We pick tones that fade gracefully and send you home with the wash routine that slows it down.
Do I need a consultation for vivid color?
Yes. Vivid work depends entirely on your starting canvas, and that has to be seen in person before we can quote it or promise a timeline.
Can you do vivids on dark or previously colored hair?
Often, but it usually takes lifting first, and sometimes across two sessions. We will tell you the realistic path instead of promising one appointment.
