Information collected automatically: pages viewed, referring link, approximate device and browser details, and the general marketing source of your visit. We use this to understand which pages help guests book.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

How we use it

To respond to your consultation request or question, confirm and remind you about appointments, keep your guest record accurate, and improve the website.

If you opt in, to send you occasional promotional messages. You can withdraw that consent at any time.

Mobile information and text messaging

Drop Dead Salons operates two separate text message programs. Appointment messages include booking confirmations, reminders, changes, and replies from the front desk about your visit. Promotional messages include offers, openings, and salon news.

You opt in by checking the corresponding box on a form on this website, or by telling the front desk in person or by phone. Every box is unchecked by default, each program is agreed to separately, and we record the date and the exact wording you agreed to.

You must be 18 years of age or older to use this SMS service.

Message frequency varies. Appointment messages are sent as your appointments require. Promotional messages are typically 2 to 4 per month. Message and data rates may apply, charged by your mobile carrier and not by us.

Consent to receive text messages is never required to book an appointment or purchase anything from us.

No mobile information will be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party or affiliate for marketing purposes.

Mobile information may be shared only with the service providers that help us deliver messages on our behalf, such as our messaging platform and our salon booking software. Those providers may use the information only to deliver our messages and for no other purpose.

Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies (local storage, pixels, and tags) to keep the site working, remember your preferences between visits, and understand how guests move through the site.

Essential cookies keep sessions and form progress intact and cannot be turned off without breaking the site. Analytics cookies, including Google Analytics, tell us which pages help guests book. These technologies do not collect your text message opt-in status and are never used to share mobile opt-in data with third parties for marketing.

Who else sees your information

Our team, and the service providers we rely on to run the salon: booking and point of sale software, email and text delivery, website hosting, and analytics. Each is bound to use your information only to provide their service to us.

We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our guests and team.

We do not sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

Guest records are kept for as long as you remain a guest and for as long afterward as we need them for tax, safety, and legal reasons. Consent records, including the date and exact wording you agreed to, are kept as proof of opt-in.

Your choices

You can ask us to correct or delete your information, unsubscribe from email, or opt out of text messages at any time. Email or call us and we will take care of it.

Security
