Program description

Drop Dead Salons sends two kinds of text messages. Appointment messages include booking confirmations, reminders, changes, and replies from the front desk about your visit. Promotional messages include offers, openings, and salon news.

Each type is opted into separately. Agreeing to appointment texts does not sign you up for promotional texts.

How to opt in

Check the corresponding box on a form on this website, or tell the front desk in person or by phone and we will record your consent.

Consent is never a condition of booking an appointment or purchasing any product or service.

You must be 18 years of age or older to use this SMS service. By opting in you confirm that you are at least 18. If we learn a number belongs to someone under 18, we will remove it.

Message frequency and cost

Message frequency varies. Appointment messages are sent as your appointments require. Promotional messages are typically 2 to 4 per month.

Message and data rates may apply. Charges come from your mobile carrier, not from us.

Opting out and getting help

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will get one confirmation message and nothing after that.

Carriers and delivery

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier and device, and we cannot guarantee that any message will arrive.
